Calling All Track 1 & 4 Students in 1st - 5th grade!!!
Registration opens Monday October 23rd
BCC 3.0 is all new with new lesson plans, new programs, new toys, and even more fun than ever before!
This year we will be using CS First, Code Monkey and Game Builder to complete projects and design games while learning core computer science concepts. Classes will be divided into 3 groups, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced based on grade level and experience. Classes are taught by Brassfield's own Software Developer parents. Their love for the field has brought them together to create a fun, positive, and encouraging environment for students to explore STEM concepts and to create a lifelong love of learning in students.
All 1st - 5th grade students are invited to apply. We are hoping to admit all students who apply but depending on the numbers there is no guarantee that we will be able to admit everyone. So please complete your applications, have fun with your essays, and submit everything on time!
In addition to our 6 week session we will be hosting BCC Workshops though out the year. We are planning on purchasing programming toys for students to explore these include Piper Kits, Microduino, Spheros, Dash and Dot, and hopefully more in the future.
The cost is $15 (that's only $2.50 a class!) this will pay for licensing fees and educational toys. These things are expensive and we receive zero outside funding for our materials and programs, so if you are able to (and would like to help) consider adding an extra $5 to the club fee to help pay for programs and toys. Or if you are interested in purchasing educational toys for us, please contact Sara Teristi at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for encouraging STEM learning in your students. We hope you will join us this year for a ton of computing fun!

Any 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade student regardless of prior club participation or experience.
